Latif Ullah Safdar is a distinguished Law and project manager who has dedicated his career to fostering development and Humanitarian in Afghanistan. Latif Ullah Safdar
has dedicated his career to humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan, using his Law expertise to significantly improve living conditions and promote development. His humanitarian experience spans various critical infrastructure projects, each aimed at enhancing the quality of life for communities.
Currently, Safdar serves as the executive director of the Organization for Coordination of Humanitarian Relief (FAWDO). In this role, he provides strategic leadership, oversees operational management, and ensures the successful implementation of various projects. His responsibilities also include engaging with stakeholders, mobilizing resources, building team capacity, and monitoring and evaluating project outcomes. Safdar extensive experience and leadership skills have been critical to the organization’s mission, vision and core value. Through his dedicated efforts, he continues to drive significant progress and innovation in Afghanistan.
Husnia Sabor
Deputy Director

Currently, Mrs. Husnia Sabor serves as the Deputy Director and Head of Internal Control and Compliance at FAWDO. In this role, she has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in navigating complex financial landscapes. His responsibilities include developing and executing leadership strategies, managing financial risks, and establishing strong internal risk control measures. Mrs. Husnia’s strategic insights and meticulous approach to risk management have been instrumental in guiding the organization toward growth and stability.

Mr. Arif Ullah Khan holds a Jahan University in field of
Business management and Administration (2017-
2021), Kabul Afganistan is a highly skilled finance and accounting professional with 8 years of experience in financial analysis and risk management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Management. Throughout his career, Mr. Arif has developed expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, along with a proven track record in analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and managing financial risks. His advanced skills in creating financial models and forecasts have significantly informed strategic decision-making processes in various organizations. Additionally, Mr. Arif has substantial experience in implementing robust internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance.
Ali Azgar

Ali Azgar Hussian holds a IVE SINA University in field of
Business management and Administration (2009-
2013), Kabul Afganistan with a focus on Proposal Writing from the Program Department. With 11 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, Mr. Hussian has held various managerial positions, including Project Manager, Program Assistant, MEAL Officer, and Program Manager with national NGOs. He joined FAWDO in November 2021, bringing with him extensive expertise in fundraising, project management, and development.
Currently, Hussian serves as the Program Manager for FAWDO. In this role, he collaborates with the program departments to develop project proposals, work plans, and strategic initiatives. His responsibilities encompass overall program management, including fundraising, donor communication, project implementation, proposal writing, and technical design. He plays a crucial role in annual planning and budgeting, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Mr. Husnian also oversees the development of proposals, planning, and technical reporting, ensuring the effective implementation of ongoing projects at both national and regional levels.
Mr. Husnian’s management of FAWDO’s programs ensures that the initiatives align with the organization’s mandate, vision, and mission. His strategic approach and dedication to program excellence have significantly contributed to the organization’s success, fostering growth and sustainability in the humanitarian efforts FAWDO undertakes. His leadership and management skills continue to drive FAWDO’s mission forward, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes.
Aimal Marza
Procurment Manager of FAWDO NGO

Mr. Aimal Mirza holds a Bachelor degree in Business management and Administration from Sayed Jamaldin Afghani University Afghanistan. With 8 years of experience in development and five years in the humanitarian sector, he has built a diverse career encompassing roles such as civil engineer, technical facilitator, chief engineer, and procurement manager. His extensive background highlights his ability to adapt and excel in various technical and managerial positions.
Currently, Mr. Aimal Mirza serves as the Procurement Manager at FAWDO. In this role, he is responsible for managing ongoing project plans, reviewing weekly project progress, and making decisions to resolve any issues that arise. His duties include preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluating bids, approving submittals, verifying payments, and managing contracts. Additionally, he prepares Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical specifications for WASH construction projects. Mr. Aimal also liaises with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, and address missed or late deliveries. He supervises the preparation of orders and follows up to ensure timely delivery and shipment.
Mr. Aimal management of FAWDO’s procurement processes ensures that all initiatives align with the organization’s mandate, vision, and mission. His strategic oversight and commitment to excellence in procurement contribute significantly to the successful execution of FAWDO’s projects. Through his expertise and dedication, he plays a vital role in fostering growth and efficiency within the organization, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively to achieve humanitarian objectives.
Shaima Rahimi
Gender and PESA Specialist of FAWDO NGO

Madam Shaima Rahimi leads the gender department with FAWDO. She holds a Master Degree from the Law faculty of Khatam u Nabieen University. She displays a 12 years thorough experience in the fields of gender integration and gender equality by working in different capacities like Legacy, civil rights and law. She has a vast experience in the fields of Gender related issues, Economy Development, Human Rights, Social activist, women rights, democracy and other managerial skills. She worked with different national and international organizations. Madam Shaima Rahimi also has been actively participating in training seminars and attending workshops in many of non-governmental organizations especially in the areas of women empowerment. A larger proportion of her experience has been gained through working with women of a variety of social classes who remain deprived of their basic rights.
Mrs. Shaima is extending her services as GBV, Safeguarding and Protection Specialist to FAWDO—Human Rights is fundamental to her work mitigating the gender-based violence and protect the rights of women, children and marginalized groups, Whereas, she has strictly adapted itself to the United Nations’ Security Council resolution (S/RES/1325) on women, peace and security.
Zanib Hussain
HR Manager of FAWDO NGO

Since joining the FAWDO HR Manager team in 2022, she has been instrumental in crafting HR strategies alongside senior management. Her portfolio includes spearheading human resource planning, optimizing staff performance, facilitating HR audits, and producing precise monthly attendance analytics.
In addition to her core HR functions, Zanib Hussain adeptly manages field office documentation and rigorously oversees staff appraisals, ensuring meticulous approval of monthly reports, payrolls, and timesheets. Her responsibilities extend to maintaining employee discipline and managing terminations, reflective of organizational policy adherence.
Significantly, Zanib Hussain is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to strategic organizational leadership and ensuring the integration of HR perspectives at the executive level. Her role in the SMT highlights her influence and underscores her comprehensive involvement in organizational development.

Eng. Abdul Hamid Malyar

Mr. Eng. Abdul Hamid Malyar is a seasoned professional with a diverse background of expertise spanning several years across various organizations. He holds a Khurasan University, Civil Engineering from Nangarhar University.
Mr. Abdul Hamid Malyar expertise ranges from administrative and logistics management within the Organization For Coordination of Humanitarian Relief to geographic data management and mapping with the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum. He has also contributed his skills in monitoring and evaluation for the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Afghanistan, Kabul Program under the Ministry of Counter Narcotics, and has a background in civil engineering, where he focused on project management, technical drawings, and quality assurance.
Currently, Mr. Abdul Hamid Malyar serves as a Public Relation Manager, where he is responsible for managing communications, public consultations, and reporting. His role involves organizing public debates, coordinating with government ministries, and ensuring project compliance with donor requirements and objectives. Additionally, Mr. Abdul Hamid Malyar plays a critical role in translating project proposals and preparing official documentation, leveraging both his technical and communicative strengths

He has garnered career-oriented goals through extensive experience across development and humanitarian interventions in her 22 years engagement with NNGOs, INGOs in Afghanistan, with a significant contribution towards gender equality and humanitarian efforts.
