Subject: Regarding the Distribution of Food Supplies
Falah Afghanistan Welfare and Development Organization (FAWDO) in collaboration with the (YIA) community and financial support, conducted a survey of 1800 needy families in coordination with the Directorate of Martyrs and Disabled in Kunar Province and local community leaders.
(FAWDO) provided these 1,800 impoverished families with 50 kg of flour, 16 liters of oil, 20 kg of rice, 10 kg of sugar, 2 bags of beans, 2 packets of salt, 10 bars of laundry soap, and 10 bars of personal soap, distributed in the presence of representatives from the Directorate of Martyrs and Disabled and community leaders.
In (2016,) a program was held in 20 mosques for Iftar (breaking the fast) during the month of Ramadan for the communities. Additionally, meat was distributed to orphaned families during the Eid celebration that year.
Alongside gratitude from the Directorate of Martyrs and Disabled and community leaders for (FAWDO’s) efforts, a recommendation was made to continue such initiatives.
